Abstract:Bert Allen Nash (d. 1947) was an educational psychologist at the University of Kansas. Nash was particularly interested in the study and remedy of child welfare agencies in Kansas, and was active in the Lawrence, Kansas community. In 1950, in recognition of Nash's contributions, the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center was established in Lawrence. The collection contains personal papers of Nash and his family, as well as his father-in-law Luther Bittle Bushong, and includes correspondence, clippings, photographs, family documents, report cards, etc.
